In order to promote the development of the arts ... the state of Sonora, there is the following: CALL
Bases
on participants and works
1 .- is open to all artists from Sonora and Sonora to live out of state, with the exception of those working in the H. City Council Caborca.
2 .- The subject matter and technique are free, each author may submit for consideration by the jury up to three works made since 2010, in the following disciplines: Painting, Drawing, Graphic and Mixed / Experimental. If it is selected, all entries must be ready for display, frame mounted and protected, with the exception of printmaking and drawing will be framed according to museum requirements. Each piece must be identified with a chip on the back, containing author, title, technique, measurements, value and date of completion. It will only accept unpublished works, property of the author and have not been shown in other competitions.
3 .- The measurements of the works should not exceed 150 cm per side and weight be no more than 30 kilograms.
Sending and receiving documentation
4 .- For the pre-selection only receive digital images on a compact disc bearing the name of the participant. Recommended care for the quality of the images, so as to permit a better appreciation of the works. The CD should contain the following three folders: Images
record: It will contain digital images of the works to compete in
JPG format at 72 dpi resolution, and weigh no more than 4 megabytes per image. The digital file title should match the title of the work.
Reference images: contain four to eight digital images of recent previous
work, to provide benchmarks for a proper assessment of the works in competition, in TIFF format at 300 dpi resolution, and weigh no more than 4 megabytes per image. The digital file title should match the title of the work.
Overview: Contain a Word document with personal data

- Details of the work to compete as well as previous work
reference in the following order: author, title, technique, measurements, value and date of completion.
5 .- The receipt of CDs and fill the official registration form will be after the publication of this call and until March 19, Civic Action in Management and Cultural H. Cabot City Hall, located at corner of Calle 5 and Avenida Quiroz Mora, without number, Colonia Centro, H. Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, CP 83600, Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 15:00 hours. The organizing committee will accept proposals sent by post or courier if the postmark indicates it was deposited before that day.

6 .- The artists whose work is selected will be given notice via phone and email in the fourth week of March 2010. The works should be delivered between 21 and 29 March 2011 from 09:00 to 15:00 in Municipal Public Library "Star Eduardo Sotelo, located at 14th Street and Avenue N, number 205, H. Caborca, Sonora, Mexico CP 83600. The costs of packaging and transportation of work, both sending and collection and risk borne by the selected authors. H. Cabot City Hall will only be responsible for the preservation and security of the parts as soon as they are received in good condition.
7 .- The jury will consist of three teachers recognized authority on the arts and their decision is final. Awards and Exhibition
8 .- H. Cabot City Council will award three prizes of $ 15,000.00 only the first $ 10,000.00 to second place and $ 5,000.00 for third place.
These awards, nonsignificant necessarily the actual value of the works, which will be integrated into the collection of the Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Caborca \u200b\u200b(MHEC).
9 .- The selection of works will be exhibited in conjunction 1920-1930 Casino, located in Causeway April 6, at Pueblo Viejo. Winners will be announced at the opening ceremony and awards, Saturday April 2, 2011, at 19:00 hrs. Then stay until 11 April in the cultural space above. After the exhibition, the winning entries will safeguard the cultural hold of Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Caborca.
10 .- Any point not covered in this call will decided by the organizing institution.
