hereby, I have to kindly inform you, regarding the visit to the city of Ilo, in accordance with the Charter Indicated N ° 179-2008-GPO, dated 06.09.2008, whereby the Project and Construction Management I SEDAPAL designated representative to to make a presentation on technologies Treatment Plant domestic wastewater regard we state the following;

1 .- GENERAL.

The visit to the city of Ilo was performed according to schedule, being on 17 September, which saw the first instance to the Office of the Environment of Southern Peru, which was carried out preliminary meeting on the working agenda of the day, with the following: Participants

On the other hand noted that the City of Ilo, there is a pre-investment study at profile No. 56001 "Construction and Implementation of a Wastewater Treatment in Ilo City "as an alternative solution having an Activated Sludge System (Extended Aeration)

2 .- ANALYSIS OF THE TOUR

Referring to the Treatment System of Wastewater drains are Ilo City led to a Treatment Plant oxidation ponds, which has a pretreatment system (bars and sand trap chamber and flow meter) then go to a primary lagoon, then to a battery of two secondary lagoons (one inoperable) and finally a battery of two tertiary lagoons (one inoperable), with the final discharge to the sea. 4 .- CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

 It is necessary to consider any technology to be chosen for the treatment system of wastewater from the City Ilo is important to ensure its sustainability, ie their operation and maintenance preserves that this implies, akin to ensure the smooth operation of the WWTP.

 The ILO EPS has to be considered a business opportunity that downstream of the WWTP is located industry "Southern Peru" which requires water for the operation of the industry processes for it would treat the wastewater according to the application that requires the industry.

 The study achieved and declared viable "Construction and Implementation of a Water Treatment Plant in the city of Ilo" in order to reduce the risk, having more approximate costs and optimize the proposed design, we propose to consider, if possible to develop a project to study at, in order that they may have more raw data, mean pre-level plans for infrastructure design and profile projected plant, equipment, technical specifications, as well as complementary studies, soil topographic, budgets, which must be developed by a specialist, a sanitary engineer.
