VIVA LA REVOLUTION IN THE WORLD!

time since its adoption as a unitary global struggle for the Second International in 1889, on 1 May has always been linked to workers' struggles for democracy and against dictatorship, exploitation and war. Since that time raised the slogan of the 8-hour day, however, the fight against long hours and sweatshop conditions, child labor and even slave labor will be a constant while capitalism exists.
Above all, the 1st of May is a celebration of internationalism that unites workers around the world and is opposed to any attempt to divide the working class by nationality, sex, language , race, ideology or religion.
This May 1st turn our eyes to the Arab countries especially in the midst of a historic revolutionary upheaval, Egypt and Tunisia, where the young and the workers played a vital role in reducing dictatorships who had oppressed for decades. The role of women in these revolutions demonstrates the potential for further advancement of their rights as a genre. The fight against economic crisis and full democratic political rights is far from complete by the new regimes that try to ban strikes and military government still in power.
In particular, we express our solidarity with the Arab workers who struggle to overthrow repressive regimes in Libya, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain and Iran. Totally condemn the military intervention of U.S. and European imperialist powers in Libya in the name of "humanitarianism " because their real motives are to continue the looting of the oil wealth of the region and to stop the advance of the revolution that aims to achieve objectives conquering imperialist and social justice.
past year has witnessed the mass marches of protest and general strikes in many European countries especially in Greece, Portugal, Ireland and Britain, where governments are trying to download the cost of major crisis that began in 2008 on the backs of the working class, privatize education, health services as all services public, and annihilate unemployment insurance for workers.
However, the official trade union leaders, the union bureaucracy and reformist parties, too often divert these struggles against austerity and decisive impact, so we must redouble efforts to pass them. Trade union activists class and the organized movement of the bases should centralize the struggle and promote general strikes to topple these neoliberal governments are trying to destroy the social gains result of the struggle of many generations of workers.
In the United States North American unions have awakened from a long sleep by the savage attacks on their rights to organize and massive cuts released by rightist governors. The massive occupation of Madison, Wisconsin state capital, and weeks of demonstrations in Ohio, the solidarity strike of the longshoremen on the West Coast indicate that American workers are finally deciding that enough is enough. To take a big step forward for U.S. workers will have to break with the Democrats to unite and form a new anti-capitalist party, where they are united regardless of origin white workers, blacks, Latinos and other minorities.
The underlying impetus for these struggles around the world is the historical crisis of capitalism, with mass unemployment, which particularly affects young people, increases in food prices and fuel, and attacks against the social gains and trade union rights. Without forgetting the growing rivalry between the imperialist powers for natural resources and exploitable labor of our planet. Their rivalry threat beyond the invasions and occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq. But to secure their release, the world proletariat needs to build new revolutionary parties. The League for the Fifth International and their sections in Asia, Europe and the United States are calling on those who fight around the world to unite all our struggles, to join us in creating the organized expression working-class world to unite in a new International. The Fifth International , world party of socialist revolution. Socialismo Revolucionario Mexico (SRM) takes this appeal and hopes to achieve coordination among all those who struggle for socialism.
